63 Alumni and Students of the National Police of Babel Participate in the Open Recruitment for Cargill Companies
SUNGAILIAT_POLMANBABEL. A total of 63 alumni and final year students of the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Babel State Police) participated in an open recruitment campus hiring organized by Cargill Indonesia at Polmanbabel Hall Wednesday, 15 May 2022.
Through PT. Pacrim Nusantara Lestari Foods, which is located in Bandar Lampung, which is one of the Business Units of Cargill Indonesia, carried out this recruitment to join as automation and instrument technician, bulking and port technician, store technician by looking for candidates from alumni and potential alumni of Polman Negeri Babel.
Cargill, a global company that has been operating in Indonesia since 1974, is engaged in agriculture in the form of animal feed products, oil palm plantations, cocoa, and the largest palm oil industry is the palm oil industry.
As a strategy to absorb labor, Cargill empowers local educational institutions in the Sumatran region by organizing Campus Hiring, one of which is at the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic.

He added that the recruitment process was carried out for 2 days, from 15 to 16 June 2022 which was divided into 3 stages, starting with a written selection for those who passed the administration, followed by an initial interview, then the second day a final interview was held by the user online.
Meanwhile, Director of Polmanbabel, I Made Andik Setiawan said that the recruitment process was a golden opportunity for Polmanbabel alumni and even prospective alumni because Cargill also accepted final year students to participate in this recruitment process even though they had not graduated from Polmanbabel.
"Take advantage of this opportunity as well as possible and be serious in participating in this selection process, this shows that the industry has looked at Polmanbabel graduates through the skills and abilities of their graduates," said Made when met.
"All Polmanbabel alumni have been equipped with competency certifications so that they are ready to compete in the world of work, because we hope that alumni after graduation will not only rely on diplomas, but have been supported by competency certificates," he continued.
Made also mentioned that the technical selection process will be completely left to Cargill, Polmanbabel only facilitates the recruitment process so that it can run smoothly and get the workforce that the company expects.

This recruitment on the first day was attended by 63 alumni and final year students who took a written psychological test to measure the level of accuracy in calculating and good focus, then on the second day 21 participants were selected to be eligible for the final interview.
